Fabulous Fulham Green Open Day

On the 5th July 2013, we celebrated the official Open Day of our Chester House Business Centre in Fulham. With temperatures soaring around 28 Centigrade, it was a day to remember and by 12:30pm, the party was in full swing with the tantalising aroma of the hog roast accompanied by the clanging of Pimms glasses.

Our guests included our resident and off-campus clients, serviced office brokers and our trusted suppliers. This also provided a great opportunity for people to meet Angela Jude, our new Centre Manager at Chester House. Angela has a well-developed knowledge of the serviced office industry and will be a great member of the Clarendon team.

Our guests were treated to tours of the centre, which gave us the chance to show off our beautiful two-acre green campus with its newly refurbished outside terrace and secluded outdoor meeting areas within the grounds, the Café Plum and bar and the secure underground car park and bicycle park.

Our guests commented on the high standard of interior decoration and also mentioned that they enjoyed the chance to get to know each other better.

We also held a prize draw for everyone who took a tour of the centre and we were delighted to award a brand new iPad Mini to Cheryl Busby, the HR Director of Clarion Events Ltd.

Bracknell Focus: Fancy Singing At The Royal Albert Hall?

The Really Big Chorus (TRBC) is Britain's largest choral society - made up of hundreds of different choirs and independent singers from all across the UK.

Lindsay Dier, who is a digital marketing executive at 3seven9 based in Bracknell's Abbey House, was fortunate enough to sing with them at The Royal Albert Hall in July.

"The great thing about TRBC is that you don't have to audition to be part of it, so it's really fun to get involved with events and sing with people who love music," comments Lindsay.



"They gather three times a year to sing at the Royal Albert Hall and, this July, they teamed up with the National Autistic Society to raise funds for people with autism. The performance was of Verdi's Requiem, a very dramatic and exciting piece of music, so I was eager to sign up."

"The actual concert was a great success. A 2,000 strong chorus performed the 200 page score (yes, we were expected to learn our parts before the event!) in front of a packed audience, accompanied by the outstanding English Festival Orchestra and conducted by the very charismatic Brian Kay. Luckily, we had a day of rehearsals, because there were also four incredibly talented professional soloists who sounded so amazing that I actually missed my cue to sing the first time I heard them!
