Clarendon Clients Raise £1,483.17 At The World's Biggest Coffee Morning

On Friday, we took part in "The World's Biggest Coffee Morning" at our 11 business centres throughout the UK. This event was a fund raiser for Macmillan Cancer Support and similar coffee mornings took place all over the country.

Many of our Clarendon clients baked some wonderful varieties of cakes and cup-cakes, which really helped us in raising money. There was a great turn out by our residents and external clients, who enjoyed networking with each other whilst tucking into the sweet treats on offer and contributing to this worthy cause. Many local businesses also contributed cakes and pastries and we would also like to thank them for their support.

In total, our clients helped us raise a terrific £1,483.17 from these events, which is a fantastic contribution and exceeded our total raised last year by £368.84. These events received great feedback at all of our business centres and we really appreciate the very hard work that was put into the making of the delicious cakes.

Bracknell Focus: Support For Windows XP Is Running Out!

Microsoft has announced that, after April 8th 2014, technical assistance and support for the Windows XP, Server 2003 and Office 2003 platforms will no longer be available.

These versions of Windows and Office will no longer receive essential software updates from the Windows Update Service. This includes security updates that help to protect PCs from harmful viruses, spyware and other malicious software, which can steal personal information.

Companies running the still widely-used Windows XP SP3, Office 2003 and Windows Server 2003 run the risk of their computers becoming vulnerable to security risks and viruses.

Ventrus Networks are proactive in keeping their customers safe and are pleased to offer readiness "Discovery Days" at their clients' premises. This will involve our highly-skilled engineers analysing their clients' systems and applications to produce a full "upgrade and/or migrate" audit and a recommendation about which operating system (Windows 7 or 8) will be best for safeguarding their clients' business after support ends.

Bromley Focus: Welcome Charlene, Our New Business Centre Manager

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Charlene Gunn as our new Business Centre Manager for Bromley.

Bromley residents will already know Charlene as she joined Clarendon in 2012. It didn't take long for the Clarendon management team to identify her potential as Charlene already had many years previous experience within different industries such as retail, hospitality and office services - introducing her to a broad knowledge of different aspects of Customer Service. With the help of our in-house and hands-on training, she has developed and honed her skills and expertise within the company and we are delighted to announce her appointment.
