Getting Best Value from Development Centres
Wadenhoe Consultancy Supper Club - Thursday 27th May 2010
Wadenhoe House Management Centre
"We have worked in partnership with The Wadenhoe Consultancy since 2003 on the design and delivery of an integrated development programme to
identify senior management talent in our business. We rate them highly and have recommended them to other organisations"
- Lafarge Cement
This is just one of many organisations with whom we have worked in recent years, so we have a great deal of confidence in our capability to deliver high quality results.
During the evening, our main aim will be to explore across-the-board best practice that enables you to:
- Plan and implement an approach which is rigorous; robust and continuously responds to the changing needs of your business.
- Work with your own organisational behaviours where these have been identified.
- Confirm the potential of people already identified from other sources.
- Reflect short, medium and long-term needs of your organisation.
- Provide a framework for measuring impact at individual; team and organisational level.
- Make career development visible in your organisation as a key strategic tool.
We will also outline how our approach responds to these best practices and provides absolute clarity about:
- Current potential - the level at which each participant could operate without further development.
- Future potential - the level that each participant could reach with further development and what that development should be.
- Immediate performance improvements - development that will have an immediate effect on performance in their current role.
- Career options - for participants who are currently "specialists" to consider future career routes.
All of this is expressed in the context of your organization and the type of job roles available.
There will be no charge for the Supper Club, which will be limited to 15 people. Overnight accommodation will be available at special rates if required.
