Describing the future team situation at a defined point in time. This will include:
Team goals being achieved
Team member roles, job satisfaction and motivation levels
Challenges faced by the team and how they have been overcome
Relationships with other teams and stakeholders

Step Two: Describing the current team situation

What aspects of team performance give you satisfaction and why?
How does the team currently work together?
What are the helpful and unhelpful team values/styles?
What can you stop doing to create more time for higher priorities?

Step Three: Understanding the current team situation

Clarifying your team mandate from the organisation
What are the potential barriers to reaching the future team situation?
Completing a Risk Analysis
Identifying root causes and potential solutions

Step Four: Planning back from The Future

What actions are needed to close the gaps between where
you are and where you need to be?

What steps will you take to get there?

Step Five: The Team Engagement "Contract"

Developing processes for maintaining team
commitment, energy, confidence and competence.

Communicating the message, which includes a teambuilding option
to capture the story of their "journey" in their own, creative way on film.
