BACKGROUND ECM has grown significantly since it was founded ten years ago. Our brief was to design and deliver a workshop for finance specialists who had recently made the transition into leadership roles. The focus was on behaviours associated with personal effectiveness in a range of one-to-one and group situations, with a particular focus on areas where participants had to deal with difficult issues and influence others, including their colleagues and immediate managers, without line authority.
